In this video I talk about a calculus book that actually changed the way that calculus books were written all over the world. This book was originally published in 1968 and it is called "The Calculus". It was written by Louis Leithold. Louis was a huge influence on the real Jaime Escalante who was portrayed in the 1988 film Stand and Deliver. Louis was considered a legend in AP calculus circles and his book was the first of its kind in the sense that it simplified the way calculus was taught.
