The main position of the teachings of Thales, that the fundamental principle of all things is water, makes him the "first philosopher" according to the thinkers of the New Age

Pittacus from Mitylene (ancient Greek Πιττακός, lat. Pittacus; 651 BC - 569 BC) is an ancient Greek sage, one of the Seven Wise Men. Pittacus was revered by the Greeks along with Solon and Lycurgus, being one of the Seven Wise Men.

Solon (ancient Greek Σόλων; between 640 and 635 BC, Athens - about 559 BC, ibid.) - Athenian politician, legislator and poet, one of the "seven wise men" of Ancient Greece. Solon came from a noble family of Codrids, who had previously been a royal dynasty. Apparently, even before the start of political activity, he was known to fellow citizens as a poet.
