This video caught some of The Henhouse Prowlers’ Friday evening show at the Florence Winter Music Festival. Here, The Henhouse Prowlers are doing a bluegrass cover of the Nigerian pop hit "Chop My Money" originally written and released by P-Square, a Nigerian music duo consisting of twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye whose successful & influential P-Square music is a fusion of R&B, Hip Hop, Afropop & Dance Pop.
Now in its second decade, The Henhouse Prowlers hone the unique, high-energy vibe that makes them an unforgettable stage presence -- be it in Chicago, Siberia, Middle East or Africa. These musicians are official Cultural Ambassadors for the U.S. State Department, and they show the world what American Bluegrass is all about. The band is original members Jon Goldfine (bass) and Ben Wright (banjo) along with Chris Dollar (guitar) and Jake Howard (mandolin). In 2017, Chris Dollar joined the band, and Jake Howard joined in 2020. In 2023, The Henhouse Prowlers released their newest album called “Lead and Iron” (on the Dark Shadow label). [ Ссылка ]
