The intention of the video series is to shift the narrative of the story of Black farmers being one of deprivation and disparity to one that shows our community members acting in their freedom and thriving on the land. Throughout the series, you can see the beauty and healing that can come from the imaginations of Black folks who have what they need to pursue their passions.

The Black Yard Farm Collective is a collective of Black farmers working together to create a thriving farming space where the Black community can learn and receive the benefits of cultivated land. They focus on raising livestock and growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
