Trimming a Starling's toenails with just one person can be done, (helps if you have big hands.) Watch the video carefully. Ask myself or a moderator on the Starling Talk Message Board if you have further questions. A friend of mine has reminded me to emphasise that when you are holding a Starling like that you should make sure that you are not squeezing on their chest at all. I mentioned this in the video, but because it is so important it does bear repeating. If you have small hands, then you should not attempt to trim your bird's nails by yourself. Ask a friend to help or have them done by your avian vet.
