The birthplace of film is quickly becoming Hollywood East as New Jersey keeps attracting new film and television projects. The variety of locations and its media tax credit program make it a prime destination for filming. Last year’s revenues from film and television production are set to exceed $650 million. And Hollywood big wigs like Lionsgate and Netflix are opening studios in the Garden State. Rhonda Schaffler sits with the executive director of the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission Steven Gorelick to discuss New Jersey’s thriving film and tv industry.
