Now it seems to be more common for these automobile to be found at a shopping mall than playing in the dirt. Luckily Autobytel got a 2012 Range Rover Sport Luxury SUV to take off-road. The Range Rover Sport has a base price of $60,045.
The 2012 Range Rover Sport HSE is powered by a 5.0 liter V-8 engine that produces 375 horsepower and 375 lb-ft. of torque. Power is transferred through a 6-speed automatic transmission through Land Rover's permanent all-wheel drive system. Fuel economy is 13 MPG in the city and 18 MPG on the highway. There is a Supercharged version that pushed over 500 horsepower.
There is no denying the Range Rover Sport is a good looking SUV. It just looks so luxurious on the outside. The shape and stance of the vehicle are very pleasing. The huge 19-inch alloy wheels give the Range Rover SUV some style. Up front the color matched bumpers, black chrome grille, and darkened headlights really give the vehicle some character. There are Xenon headlights up front and LED taillights out back.
On the inside the amount of elegance and luxury almost knows no bounds. The leather seats can be had in 1 of 3 different colors. There are also 2 different types of real wood trim pieces to choose from. The push button start is a standard must for any luxury vehicle. Land Rover offers mood lighting on many of their high-end SUVs and on the Range Rover Sport this feature is pretty cool. There are audio controls on the steering wheel, a touch screen navigation, and a Harmon Kardon sound system.
The 2012 Land Rover Range Rover Sport has everything you could want in a luxury SUV. It has the power, off-road ability, and luxury amenities to make anyone smile.
