Written by the Swedish composer, Erland von Koch, in 1975. This piece is No. 8 of the 18 monologue pieces he wrote for unaccompanied instruments, including for bassoon and many others. In the first movement, you will hear mystical and lyrical melodies that flow around a central idea. The second movement begins urgently to contrast the first movement. The melodies in this movement are even more crazy then the last, taking you to places you never thought you'd end up. I hope you enjoy!
