Pakistan conducted a successful training launch of a surface to surface ballistic missile capable of delivering warheads up to a range of 290 kilometers, Thursday, January 23, as seen in footage from the Pakistani military’s media wing.
The statement from the Pakistani military said the training was part of Field Training Exercise of Army Strategic Forces Command aimed at rehearsing operation readiness procedures.
Rivaling countries India and Pakistan have been developing missiles of varying ranges since they conducted nuclear tests in May 1998.
