Clyde Drexler is the man of the night, with 38 points on 16 for 27 shooting, hitting a 3 that seemed to push the ballgame into a second overtime period, but Johnny Dawkins had other plans. It was a one man show tonight in Philadelphia. His highest scoring teammate was Alaa Abdelnady off the bench with 17, only Kevin Duckworth (13 points-disappeared late) had double digits scoring. Porter (1 for 13), Kersey (3 for 12), Buck Williams (4 for 10) and Robinson (2 for 6-barely any shot opportunities) all struggled, leading the star of the team to take over the scoring load. He excited the opposing crowd with soaring dunks and his 3-point shot, but it wasn't enough to get the W against a Charles Barkley-less Philadelphia squad led by the aforementioned Dawkins and Hersey Hawkins.
