CYC/JCG CEO and President Jane Keller, along with CYC Student Alumni Ashleigh Dubois and Rodney Leonard, talk on FOX19 Morning News Xtra about the merger and how it allows us to help make the dreams of more local kids come true.
Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC), a United Way Agency Partner, has been committed to increasing Greater Cincinnati high school graduation rates for 30 years by collaborating with schools, businesses and volunteers throughout the community. Since its founding, CYC has served more than 160,000 stu¬¬dents. Many CYC students face extreme obstacles such as homelessness, incarcerated parents, teen pregnancy and poverty. CYC empowers these students by placing positive adult advocates in their lives. Working directly with local school districts, CYC provides a credited career preparation course teaching 37 core professional job skills, in-school college and career advisors offering comprehensive support, as well as various mentoring platforms for individuals, groups and businesses.
CYC’s unique formula has a proven success rate: over the past five years, an average of 95% of CYC senior students have graduated from high school.
