This video is an example of #implicitlearning and #externalcueing. It also illustrates an aspect of mental performance, where a simple shift in attention can do the trick. While Tin Cup was thinking about how silly he looked, what he wasn't doing was thinking about his swing.
"The mind can concentrate on only one thing at a time." - Gary Mack, author of Mind gym: an athlete's guide to inner excellence / Gary Mack with David Casstevens; forword by Alex Rodrigez. (2001). McGraw-Hill, New York, NY.

I recommend this book to all coaches, not just golf coaches. I don't even coach golf. I coach #volleyball.
A quote from the preface:
"The fold coaching literature is dominated by an obsession with technique, highlighting the shortcomings of traditional player development methods in golf. In reducing a golfer's performance to nothing more than technique, golf coaching fails to capture the true multiplicative, non-linear, and dynamic nature of the human system as it interacts with the unique and ever-changing environment of each individual golf course."
