Another stellar wine from the Calera Winery based out of California, USA. This is a 2018 Calera Chenin Blanc White Wine (13%). Every wine we've had has been a knock out and this was our first Chenin Blanc...and it didn't disappoint.
Tasting notes: complex & silky flavors of pears & orange citrus. Sweetness level is moderate & there is nice acidity. Very fun wine with a lingering and delicious finish.
We would give this a 4.1/5 star rating per Vivino standards and gets a solid "recommended" from us.
Bought locally for between $50-60 Cdn per bottle.
