Hezbollah's deputy leader, Naim Qassem, has declared the group ready to resist any Israeli ground invasion of Lebanon following the assassination of its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, last week.
In his first public speech since the killing, Qassem said, "We are prepared to face any Israeli land invasion, and the resistance forces are ready for ground combat."
Israeli forces have already struck multiple Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, killing several commanders.
