Ingredients
1 Big Bowl Maida
1 Tsp Ajwain
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Jeera
1 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
3 Tbsp Ghee
1 Bowl Methi
1 Tbsp Oil
1 Pinch Salt
Method
Mix Ajwain, Salt, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Jeera, Black Pepper Powder And Mix Well
Add 3 Tbsp Of Ghee And Rub The Fat In The Flour
Heat Oil In A Sperate Pan And Wilt The Chopped Methi Till Half Cooked, Add Salt.
Transfer Methi To The Flour Mixture
Make A Medium Tight Dough Using Little Water
Glaze The Dough With Oil To Avoid Scaling Of Dough
Rest The Dough For 10 Min
Make A Cylinder Of Dough And Cut Into Uniform Equal Portions
With The Help Of Palm Press Dough Balls To Make Mathri Discs
Heat Oil In A Pan To Medium Hot And Deep Fry Mathri Till Crisp
Transfer The Mathri On A Kitchen Towel
Store It In Air Tight Container When Cooled Thoroughly.
