Hey my youtube family. In this video I max out on the big 3, that's squat, bench press and for me sumo deadlift. The reason why I am testing my strength is because as of Monday the 19 October I will be starting Layne Norton's PH3 program. He has always been an amazing role model for me and someone I look up to in the fitness industry. The reason is because of his amazing physique, his IFPA Pro bodybuilding status, he is an elite powerlifter and he has a PhD. This is very important to me because I must have scientific proof on a lot of things regarding training and nutrition. I believe if there are cold hard facts from recognizable sources and studies then it is true. I can not merely go on word of mouth or what someone says in the gym. Always research and strive to know more.Anyway back to the program. He has launched a program utilizing DUP (daily undulating periodization) I have always found this technique intriguing but never really knew how to implement it into my training. So now that the all knowing guru himself has actually designed a program incorporating it I must give it a try. Hope you all will follow on this journey with me :)
