There was a time when the FLC was predominant in the US military until plate carriers largely took over on deployment. The FLC continues service life mostly with training these days and being surplused out on the open market - is it still handy?

They come in an arrangement of colours from Coyote brown, 3 colour desert & UCP (usually UCP being the cheapest - perfect for some DIY dying or painting!). A very robust lightweight build, modular and doesn't break the bank. A vest for the working class warfighter!
