Why don’t lobsters die of age? #shortsvideo
Did you know lobsters don't die of their old age? Does that mean they are immortal? Let's find out!
Fun Facts: The oldest known lobsters captured have weighed over nine kilograms, with ages estimated between 120 and 140 years.
The biggest European lobster males in the wild live an average of 31 years, and the females an average of 54 years.
The average lobster can moult 44 times before it’s a year old. By the time lobsters reach the age of seven, they moult once a year, and after that, once every two to three years.
