Prosecution has asked for more time to bring in more suspects accused of murdering two Muslim clerics. The Shiite leader in Uganda, Sheikh Abdul Qadr Muwaya was killed in Mayuge, while Sheikh Mustafa Bahiiga was shot in Bwebajja on Entebbe road in December 2014. Nine people include the Amir Ummah Sheikh Yunus Kamoga appeared before the high court in Kampala today. The prosecution informed the court that more suspects had been arrested and requested for permission to add them to the list of those accused. The group first appeared in Nakawa magistrates court in January where various charges including murder, terrorism and attempted murder were read to them.
