Navi Pillay United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has criticized the inaction of the international community in the Syria conflict.

In her speech to the UN Human Rights Council the UN Human Rights Chief highlighted the achievements and challenges of the human rights movement in the past 20 years. This year the UN Human Rights office marks it's 20th anniversary.
