First of all, SPOILER ALERT! Money Heist just released its most anticipated part 2 of its fifth season, which they purposely deprived us with in the last months of this year, just so they can leave us hanging and craving for more. Well, I gotta say, it worked! The online world has nothing in its content recently other than the events of one of the world’s largest Spanish series today, Money Heist, or in its original title, La Casa de Papel. I can’t explain any further how Money Heist has been a global phenomenon since its initial release on the streaming platform on 2017, but I can say that during the course of the illness, European countries, especially Italy and other Western communities affected by lockdowns, altogether sang to the melody of Bella Ciao as motivation to combat the solitude brought by the illness. Even before that, the show was already widely popular, but when the illness hit, and everyone had nothing else better to do than glue themselves to their phones and laptops, the globally popular show released its Season 4 and everyone watched like crazy. Then, we all waited for season 5, which was released early this year, but only its first part. Then they all made us wait for another few months to complete the satisfaction. Now, after the release of the complete set of the fifth and final season, everyone is going crazier.
Over the course of the series, many of our favorite characters involved in the heist passed away. Well, there was Oslo, the father figure we all never knew we needed --Moscow, the strong independent leader figure --Berlin, and even the female icon we all loved --Nairobi, and of course, the narrator of the whole series itself --Tokyo. But with all those deaths, we might be gripping onto our seats as we watch the events of the final heist unfold, hoping that no other character we love dies, and that God takes Arturo instead. (I’m certain at least half of you are wishing for that, too!) But how did the final season of the world’s biggest Spanish show end? Who lives and who survives? Well, let’s find that all out in this video. But before anything else, let us remind you again for some spoilers coming your way! The members of Money Heist's Dali gang have had a long and arduous journey, but it has finally come to a climactic end with the release of season five part two on Netflix. The final scenes of Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1 were shot at the Bank of Spain.
Since joining the Bank of Spain, they have lost two of their most beloved members – Tokyo and Nairobi – and fans were worried that more characters will perish in the final five episodes. Meanwhile, the question of how The Professor intends to smuggle Spain's entire gold reserve out of the maximum security institution, which is currently besieged by the country's considerable military might, lingered.
The Professor, alias Sergio, former police inspector Alicia, and the rest of the outside operations team are apprehended by police. Meanwhile, an army unit bets on a "Trojan horse" plan that involves breaking into the bank with undercover surgeons and capturing the entire crew inside.
With no idea where the gold was taken and his crew being held at gunpoint, the Professor decides to turn himself in and be arrested alongside his crewmates. For a while, it appears that the Professor has given up. But "Money Heist" couldn't end without the Professor revealing one last card hidden up his sleeve.
Episode 10 of "Money Heist" Part 5 Vol. 2 starts with the show's crew on their knees and guns pointed at their heads. They all know that the police unit that captured the Professor and his outside crew was actually not the police, but rather another heist crew who knew their plan and stole all of the gold for themselves.
But if you are a real Money Heist fan, you know too well that the Professor never goes into battle without a Plan B. A video detailing how the crew mined the gold is also part of the Professor's final plan. In a flashback, it's revealed that the Professor was planning to steal Spain's entire financial reserve of 90 tons of gold. When the gold is taken, the stock market in Spain.
But did the Money Heist crew get away once again?
And as for Tokyo, well, she remained as the narrator of the story from beyond her grave, and like Berlin, retained her memory in the show through flashbacks.
That’s all for today, we hope you enjoyed that video and if you did, don’t forget to hit that like and subscribe button and smash that notification bell for more episodes. Stay tuned!
