Here's presenting to you the Haitian cultural dance performance at Labadee 🇭🇹 This was more of a historical tour than a vacation for me.
I noticed a lot of similarities between Haitian arts, craft culture, and that of Igbo tribe of Nigeria 🇳🇬 I've got an assignment to research Haitian origin and history.
I felt the overwhelming presence of African culture in Haiti 🇭🇹 The moment I realized the resilience of African culture and traditions.
Despite being separated from the roots by the imperialists, centuries ago, our people have done well preserving our culture and traditions.
Bravo, my people, I am so proud of Haiti. Thank you for having us. Long Live Haiti 🇭🇹
