Backstory: Shion was bullied from a young age due to his unique voice and odd obsession with cartoons. The kids his age thought he was weird and oftentimes called him a baby due to his emotional personality. Shion tried telling his family, but they were in a bad position financially and didn’t want to start anything with any of the parents for fear of financial retaliation as Shion went to a pretty well-known upper class school.
Eventually, Shion discovered voice acting when they were a young preteen. They decided then and there that they’d show everyone they weren’t just a pushover and applied for a few roles in some small upcoming animes which had poor budgets and were desperate for voice actors. Their home mic was bad, but one of the animes casted them for a supporting character despite it all as the studio saw the potential in their voice. Shion did under the table voice lines at their studio the next week and left. However, the anime ended up blowing up despite its poor budget and Shion’s voice was recognized by some big time studios looking for voice actors, thus kicking off his claim to fame as an Ultimate.
Since then, Shion’s been known as one of Japan’s most promising young voice actors. He now has a proper mic and does voice acting for animes, video games, manga reading dubs, and more.
