Alanya attractions - This is a short atmosphere video of the beach known as Kleopatra Beach located in the beach holiday City of Alanya in Turkey (I am not quite sure whether the name is Cleopatra Beach or Kleopatra Beach although judging by the internet results on Google both ways of spelling this beaches name are correct.

In my opinion Kleopatra Beach is the most beautiful of Alanyas beaches with deep clear turquoise colored water and lovely sandy pebbly (The beach is somewhere between course sand and pebbles and extremely nice to lie on). This video was filmed in the summer of July and it was still early morning. It did not take long before the beach was full. The clouds that you see hanging over the mountains in this footage where quickly dissolved as the sun got hotter and hotter.

According to Wikipedia the name "Kleopatra Beach" could originate from the Egyptian Princesses (Cleopatra) visit to this beach or perhaps that this area was included in her dowry to Mark Anthony. Cleopatra Beach lies at the foot of Alanya Castle, a castle which was built in the 13th century.
