So I've had this Life Pixel converted Lumix G5 full spectrum camera for Astrophotography and decided to purchase a Kolari IR Chrome Filter that replicates Aerochrome film from days gone by. My initial thoughts are pretty positive of this semi-infrared filter. I will do a full review later once I learn the ins and outs of this multi-band pass filter for infrared photography.
In this first light video test footage and photos I only do some minor adjustments in photoshop as this creative ir filter does most of the heavily lifting. A full infrared photography tutorial on this lens is summed up with as shoot raw, adjust white balance to a pleasing colour and adjust levels as you would for a normal visual image.
