The pilots of this Easyjet Airbus A319 flight arriving at Bristol Airport from a much more pleasant Alicante had a real battle against a forceful crosswind today (10th December 2019), opting to abort the landing the first time round before putting it down the second time. Brilliant job as always! 👏🛬
Check out this footage of an Easyjet Airbus A319-111 (G-EZBX) performing a go around at Bristol Airport (BRS/EGGD) during a storm with consistent winds around 20 knots with gusts up to 35 knots, right across the E/W aligned runway. The aircraft was operating the U26072/EZY25NZ service from Alicante (ALC/LEAL). After being vectored back around the plane landed safely on the 2nd attempt 10 minutes later.
