In this video, I'm talking about the best white wines for ageing. I'm showing five best age-worthy white wines, including Chenin Blanc from Savennières appellation of Loire Valley, also Hunter Valley Semillon, and white Rioja and more precisely oak aged Viura grape varieties also know as Macabeo in southern parts of Spain. The best two age-worthy white wines are Vin Jaune, produced from Savagnin grape in the Jura region. Did you know, that Vin Jaune can be produced under 4 appellations, including Arbois, Côtes du Jura, l'Étoile Vin Jaune and Château Chalon. The last one is the most prestigious appellations for Vin Jaune production. Lastly German Riesling from the Mosel region are age so
well. Best German Riesling apart of Mosel, are produced in Pfalz, Rheinheissen and Rheingau. Btw, the best age-worthy white Rioja's are: Vina Tondonia Reserva Blanco, Marqués de Murrieta Capellanía, Cornelio Dinsastia Fermentado en Barrica and Conde de Los Andes Grand Reserva Blanco.
In the Loire Valley, apart of wines from Savennières, great Chenin Blanc can be also found in the Vouvray region.
