5 Lessons on the 5:2 Diet
Are you starting out on your 5:2 diet journey but need some tips for the 5:2 diet? The 5:2 diet is a method of intermittent fasting, and it can help you to achieve weight loss without exercise. For working professionals, this can also help you avoid gaining weight at a desk job. Here are five lessons on the 5:2 diet that I've learned so far.
0:00 - Intro & Lesson #1: Don't drink your calories on a "fast" day.
0:51 - Lesson #2: Don't lift weights on a "fast" day (doing weights the next morning totally fasted is fine, but you'll be too hungry after weights for a 500-calorie day).
1:43 - Lesson #3: Mushroom broth is your friend, and it's only 5 calories per cup!
2:30 - Lesson #4: Eat bulky, low-calorie, nutrient-dense foods on a "fast" day. Salads are, therefore, a good idea on your fast days.
4:30 - Lesson #5: Even when "fast" days suck, I feel fabulous the next morning!
