STORYLINE:
The Princess of Wales visited the country’s most historic printworks company in Lancaster on Tuesday. Standfast & Barracks has been producing textiles since 1924 and is renowned for its heritage in design and creativity.
While visiting, Kate met various employees and collaborators of Standfast & Barracks and learned about the sustainable and traceable materials in their products.
Kate also received flowers from 7-year-old Emily May Catto, the granddaughter of Peter Ellison, who has been an employee for 50 years.
