Tan Nguyen is a refugee, U.S. citizen, college graduate, business owner, and father. He escaped Vietnam by disguising himself as a fisherman, journeyed to Malaysia on small fishing boats, and eventually achieved the American Dream in the U.S.
At a #Viets4Biden Rally in San José (10/24), Nguyen shared his candid reflections on the division within our families, drawing parallels between the political divides of the Vietnam War and today's politics. He also addressed the spread of fake news and the harmful effects of redbaiting in our communities.
