Earlier this year I was reading The Sussex Peep Show by Walter Wilkinson. He was writing of his adventures in the mid nineteen twenties of his travels in Sussex with a Punch and Judy show which he performed in villages across the county.
I made a couple of 'In the Footsteps of' videos and thought it would be fun to collaborate with artist and filmmaker, Andrew Norris, to recreate his puppet theatre at one of his venues next spring. Andrew agreed and set to work to make some of the puppets.
