Along the west coast of Sweden, where the archipelago ends and the open sea begins lies the Island of Marstrand. A short ferry ride across the strait brings us upon the 17th Century fortress Carlsten Fästning looming over the quaint sailing town.
A short visit during the off-season provided nearly empty harbours, scenic views and blossoming spring foliage. The music track is called "Adamant" and is by Swedish classical composer Christoffer Moe Ditlevsen. A lush track with hints of melancholy. Upon first listen it brought me right back to these serene shores along this beautiful seaside town. Enjoy and take care
