Hello Friends, check out our new video on English Grammar tips, Affect vs Effect.
We often get very confused between the usage of when to use affect and when to use effect. The best way to understand when to Use Affect and Effect is when we understand the difference in these two words.
1. Affect is most often used as a verb meaning “to have an impact on,” as in “The tornado barreling towards us will affect our picnic plans.”
2. Effect is most commonly used as a noun meaning the result or impact of something, an outcome. If there's "a/an/the" in front of it, it's an effect.
