On today's Los Angeles day trip, Carbon Canyon Regional Park to hike and see Redwood in SoCal. Carbon Canyon is a fairly easy and flat 3-mile hiking trail. There are a few different trails you can choose from, just follow the sign. The park is nicely kept and they have signs everywhere. It is safe for kids or the elderly.
A little info: Entry is free, parking is $5 to enter the park on weekend (card accepted). There is restroom and water in the trail head.
