Singapore and Germany have said they can do more together in new areas such as cybersecurity and sustainable development. In Berlin, Foreign Affairs Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock also discussed strengthening people-to-people ties and multilateralism. Dr Balakrishnan noted that bilateral supply chains remained intact during COVID-19, a sign of strategic trust between the two countries. During a joint press conference, he also talked about the Ukraine crisis.
