Ingredients for:
1) Canadian Poutine Recipe :
- Potatoe– 2 Medium Heads
- Butter – ¼ Cup
- Flour – ¼ Cup
- Beef Stock – 2 Cups
- Salt – ½ Teaspoon
- Pepper – ½ Teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce Sauce – ½ Teaspoon
- Cheese Curds
Canadian Poutine Preparation:
- Cut the potatoes into 1 cm strips.
- Add in cold water and let sit for 1 hour.
- After an hour, dry well the potatoes and lightly fry at 150 C for 5 minutes.
- Remove, place on a cooling rack, and let freeze for an hour.
- In a saucepan, add the butter and let it melt. Add the flour and mix well allowing the flour to cook.
- Add the beef stock, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and let cook until thickened and reduced.
- Return the fries and fry at 190 C until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the fries on a plate, add some cheese curds, and pour the gravy over.
