In the joint press briefing, the Comptroller-general of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, told Nigerians that as a measure to reduce the inflation of the prices of food, the President has directed to reduce the customs duties and taxes on imported food items for a period of time. He spoke about this and other measures being put in place.
