France’s biggest terror case will see 20 defendants, six of those will be tried in absentia, stand trial in Paris for planning, aiding and carrying out the attacks in the capital six years ago which left more than 100 dead.
Saleh Abdeslam will be the only one of the 14 on trial for murder but he has continued to decline to answer any questions from investigators since his arrest six years ago in Belgium where he was captured, or in France.
Testimony from victims and families will be heard during the trial which could last up to nine months.
