On October 6, 2023 at 2:06pm, ULA launched an Atlas V rocket on the Prototypes mission for Amazon’s Project Kuiper.
The 2 Kuiper satellites launched are prototypes that will allow Amazon to run tests and finalize their satellites for future missions to come.
Project Kuiper is Amazon’s plan to build a network of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit, to provide high-speed internet access anywhere in the world.
