CAPTION: NY Rep. Anthony Weiner has denied sending a lewd photo from his Twitter account to a 21-year-old woman, trying to calm increasing news coverage of the incident. He said that he has hired a private security company to figure out how someone could pull off such a prank. (June 1)

"I didn't send the photograph that was this hacker did...i didn't send it to the woman in question....she didn't get it...she's made a statement to that effect....i saw it immediately and took it down...it looked like a joke....a bad joke about my name.....i didn't send that photograph."
