Our daughter Sarah Buffaloboy has been nominated for the leukemia and lymphoma Student of the Year Campaign.
This is a 7-week initiative in which nominated high school students participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). And Sarah has been nominated for the state of New Jersey.
Students are asked to take on the challenge of raising a minimum of $5,000 and join the fight against blood cancers. The student raising the most funds will receive a $2,500 dollar scholarship to the school or university of their choice. Students rally their communities, schools, and families to support their fundraising efforts. By raising money we are coming one step closer to curing cancer, and helping others fighting their battles with cancer!
