Yakisoba means in Japanese ‘stir-fried noodles ’. Most often the noodles used to make this recipe are made from wheat flour. The dish is a Chinese inspiration from the stir-fried noodles ‘chow mien’. The recipe is simple, it also includes small pieces of meat, squid, vegetables and a delicious sauce.

400g fresh noodles
or 300g dehydrated noodles
200g pork belly
200g squid
200g green cabbage
1 carrot
100g mushrooms
1 spring onion
1 onion
1 pinch salt
Ground pepper
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp of vegetable oil
Pickled ginger
Nori seaweed flakes,
or 1 sheet of nori seaweed
Shichimi powder
Seasoning sauce:
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp Worcester sauce
2 tbsp Ketchup
