I purchased the Donner DAG-1CE as a budget guitar option for my daughter but I have to be honest. Once I looked at how nicely it was built and how great it sounded even with the cheap strings I knew it was a keeper. The final deciding factor was the solid spruce top on it which I didn't expect to see.
