Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat speaks about Godhra incident. He says, "After the Godhra incident, I met with Prime Minister for the first time. We presented an electronic presentation before the Prime Minister and Home Minister explaining all the details about incidents that happened after 27. We discussed the relief majors with Prime Minister and I have requested to Prime Minister to visit Gujarat and also requested to Prime Minister to help us in relief funds and food materials.
I have explained it to Prime Minister that in the last week approx. 3500 Haj pilgrims returned to Gujarat peacefully and 101 relief camps are functioning in Gujarat."
