The SAF Best Unit Competition is back!
Recognising units who have excelled in areas of combat readiness, operational proficiency and administrative excellence, the competition brings out the spirit of excellence in the SAF.
Needing no introduction, the 1st Commando Battalion clinched the Best Combat Unit award, taking their tally to an unprecedented 36 wins since the very first SAF Best Unit Competition was introduced in 1969.
Bagging the Best Fleet Unit and Best Fighter Squadron awards, respectively, are the RSN’s Formidable-class frigate RSS Tenacious and the RSAF’s 143 Squadron.
