The UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Etna, on the Italian island of Sicily, is one of the largest active volcanoes in Europe. It has erupted almost constantly for thousands of years, and has contributed hugely to the science of volcanology. It stands 3,300m above the nearby city of Catania, and as we discovered, it's home to many varying climates and landscapes! Join us, as we explore the many faces of this fascinating volcano.
