This is the only way to unlock a Tainted character before their regular form (and yes, this only works on ???). Glowing Hourglass in the starting room and die with Ankh at Home. This has some interesting effects.

- This does NOT allow you to see ??? on the character wheel.
- This does NOT allow you to select Tainted ???.
- If you hit Random to try and force the game to pick a character, it TRIES to select Tainted ???, but since he's not actually there, it instead selects Tainted Eve, who you are actually allowed to play as. However, you cannot select her normally, and can only do so via the Random button, and this does NOT unlock Tainted Eve, nor does it even require Eve to be unlocked.
