The Flood of 1953 was a big disaster for Goeree-Overflakkee, and other islands, in The Netherlands. Ambassador Jaap van Nieuwenhuijzen gives a guided tour in the village Oude-Tonge, where more than 300 hundred people died. We visit the catholic church, the Swedish houses (a gift from the Scandinavian countries) and the graveyard.
