The age old question Film or Digital is the topic for this week. I venture off to one of my favorite locations on Cape Ann to shoot some good old Kodak Tri-X and compare it to the Leica M-P 240 converted color file in Silver Efex Pro Tri-X simulation. The scans from negatives are usually very flat so a trip into Lightroom or Photoshop is required to get the files where you want them. I like to look at this as the true digital darkroom as you get the on-screen file to look like how you would want the print to look. It was a great experiment and it will be fun to shoot some more film. I have tons of old Fuji color stock and even some Tri-X I found in a film loader. Who knows what that will look like. I even go into how I processed the film so this video is a lot of fun and information.
