Known for its premium seafood offerings and striking floor-to-ceiling tropical reef aquarium, Al Mahara at the Burj Al Arab is now home to Capri’s beloved chef Andrea Migliaccio and his award-winning eatery, Ristorante L’Olivo. The two-star fine dining experience will transport guests in Dubai to the shores of Capri, where they can discover the authentic flavours of the island and other Mediterranean classics, as well as indulge in premium seafood and cocktail offerings.
As a restaurant designed for intimate dinners and gourmet tasting menus, Al Mahara couldn’t be a more fitting choice for Chef Andrea Migliaccio's lip-smacking culinary creations. Having moved from Capri Palace to Dubai in November for a pop-up, Andrea is now manning the helm of Al Mahara where he is adding a touch of innovative Mediterranean flair to this Middle Eastern landmark venue. Guests are welcomed into the iconic space that boasts indescribable underwater scenes, while the rich gold hues create a real sense of occasion, which is what Migliaccio’s food is all about.
The Ischia native has curated a menu that compliments its surroundings by including seafood-centred plates that are inspired by simple principles yet yield maximum flavour and narrative. The options are designed to parallel the Capri counterpart, so guests can expect signature dishes executed with the same attention to detail and superior ingredients that the original L'Olivo is known
For a unique dining experience, indulge in the five-course tasting menu that features Panzanella Salad with Grilled Scallops, Lemon Tagliolini with Red Prawns, Burrata and Oysters Leaf, Tomato Risotto and Gilthead with Mediterranea Sauce. Guests can also opt for the A La Carte Menu with highlights like a Caviar Selection, Crudo Di Mare, Red Tuna Tartare, Blue Crab Ravioli, Spaghettoni with Baby Squid, Lobster with Tarragon Cream, and Black Cod with Spinach, Sundried Tomatoes and Herb Sabayon. For the sweetest ends, delight in a decadent selection of desserts, including the Baba Al Rum, Baked Chocolate Ganache with Olive Oil, Hazelnut Panna Cotta and Albicocca e Pane.
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the venue is open Tuesday to Sunday from 7pm to 10.30pm.
